A Great Night of C**ts Football! 🏈

Our 7th Grade C**ts played hard until the final whistle. Although they came up short, 36–6, Rolando Gomez gave the crowd something to celebrate with an exciting touchdown in the final minute! We are proud of the team’s determination and fight! 💜

Our 8th Grade C**ts followed with a hard-fought 10–0 shutout victory! AJ Davis-Mims scored an impressive touchdown, and Sylas Thomas added the extra-point run to give the C**ts a 7–0 halftime lead. In the fourth quarter, Jose Batiz sealed the victory with an incredible 25-yard field goal! 🙌

A huge thank-you to Ms. Bock, Madame Torrey, and Mr. Amendola for managing the ticket table, audio, and scoreboard—and helping make our first home game at Calhoun possible!

We also want to give a big shoutout to our amazing CMS PTA for taking care of concessions throughout the evening. It truly takes a team to create a great game-night experience!

We kick off our football season this Tuesday, September 1st, against Walker MS. Both our 7th- and 8th-grade teams will play on the same night, with the 7th-grade game beginning at 6:00 PM and the 8th-grade game following at 7:00 PM.

With our home games now being played right here at Calhoun, it has never been easier to come out and support our athletes! We hope to see you there!

BACK TO SCHOOL BASH 😎🐴

⏰ 3:35–5:45 PM

Students can stay after school for games, dancing, concessions and fun with friends!

Wristbands, required for entry, are $5 and include a bag tag. Student PTA members get in FREE! Purchase during lunch Thursday or Friday with cash, Apple Pay or tap.

🎒 Bags will be checked in and kept in a monitored room.
👟 Sneakers or other soft-soled shoes are required.
🚗 Pickup at 5:45 PM at the Fulton Street Gym entrance, Door 18, ONLY.

This is a student-only event. Parents may enter only if volunteering.
