TRAFFIC UPDATE 2:43 p.m. | The roads have reopened.

TRAFFIC ALERT 11:55 a.m. | Both north and southbound I-35 near the vicinity of Sanger and Valley View are currently closed due to an incident involving a suspect in a high pursuit chase with the Department of Public Safety. Denton Police Department is not involved in this incident, but we want to make sure that travelers are aware that traffic is backed up in both directions toward Denton. The roads are expected to remain shut down for the next several hours. Please seek alternate routes!

This morning, we were honored to take part in the memorial ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. As we gathered to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, we were reminded of the strength, unity, and resilience that continue to define us. We also honor the first responders, firefighters, police officers, and all emergency personnel and everyday citizens who ran into the towers when everyone else was running out.

Take time today to pause, reflect, and remember the lives that will forever be part of our nation’s story. We Remember.❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

TRAFFIC UPDATE 9:12 p.m. | The road has reopened. We are sad to report the driver of the motorcycle was killed in the crash.

TRAFFIC ALERT 7:20 p.m. | Please be advised that all of Bonnie Brae Street from the service road to Louise Street is closed for the next several hours for a crash investigation involving a motor vehicle and a motorcycle. One person has been transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Please find an alternate route!
