These needs may be a result of the loss of a job or unexpected health issues. At our office we have a food pantry, clothing closet, and we offer financial assistance with rent or utility bills to those who qualify. There is no fee for any of our services. If you, or someone you know, needs help from any of our services, please call to schedule an appointment or a time to come in. We will go over t
he process with you and try to help you in our office. If for some reason we cannot help you here, we offer referrals to other agencies and organizations. We offer listings of available jobs in the area. We sign people up for the Giving Tree, which is similar to the Angel Tree but provides gifts for Senior Citizens. Our Center also offers and prepares a “Christmas Dinner Out” to be held locally for our senior clients. We work with local churches to provide a ham with all the trimmings for an Easter meal for our clients. We offer a summer lunch box program, and we partner with Denton Elementary school to help with their weekend backpack program. We are truly grateful for the support we receive from individuals, churches and organizations. That helps enable us to accomplish our mission. We thankfully accept monetary donations in person or through the mail. Also appreciated are donations of food and personal hygiene items.
