The Denison Police Department is a highly professional organization where all of our employees are eager to be of service to our community. The members of the police department comprise men and women of high character and integrity that serve our community. We strive to enhance the quality of life in Denison through partnerships with our citizens, the schools, and the business community. “Doing our best with every contact” is a constant goal of all of our police employees. As we enter into the season of giving, join us in supporting the Boys and Girls Club of Denison with our Cops and Cans Fundraiser!

Donations of unexpired non-perishable food can be dropped off at our department (108 W. Main) from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM October 26 through November 13.

Our department wants to remind our community of a few simple ways to stay safe this Halloween.🎃

-Stay visible by carrying a flashlight or wearing reflective gear.
-Use sidewalks and cross at crosswalks or intersections.
-Young children should trick or treat with a trusted adult.
-Drivers, slow down and watch closely for pedestrians.
-Parents and guardians, check treats before they are eaten.

October 10 is World Mental Health Day, and we’d like to take a moment to highlight mental health resources available in our community.

For more than a year, the Denison Police Department has partnered with Texoma Community Center through a co-responder program.

This partnership brings law enforcement and mental health professionals together to help de-escalate crises, connect individuals with appropriate services and resources, and reduce strain on emergency systems, including law enforcement and healthcare.

Texoma Community Center is a valuable local resource for community members seeking mental health support and services.
