We want to invite you to the Old South Jamboree exhibit opening September 19th, at Denham Springs Old City Hall museum, at 10:30 am. Councilwoman Lori Lamm Williams will welcome everyone to the event and you will have time to visit and enjoy the Old South Jamboree exhibit and enjoy refreshments. We are delighted to say that Carlton Jones and the Red Hot Country Pickers will be singing too!!!

We cannot thank Robert Reynolds enough for bringing the exhibit to OCH. If you are wanting to visit an era from days gone past with pictures of Dolly Pardon, Porter Waggoner and oh so many other talented artist....this exhibit is for you! Big thanks to our community partner Five Star Printing and Signs that has always been a friend to the City of Denham Springs.

We invite you to shop and dine in the Denham Springs Antique Village. We are proud to share that the entire village is on the National Register of Historic Places and the shops have so much to offer. A variety of merchandise, art classes, dining and so much more. Take a stroll and enjoy the ambiance of a step back in time.

Servpro’s First Responders Appreciation event today was powerful, seeing our community gather in unity outdoors alongside our first responders, otherwise known as our local heroes.

With today also marking the anniversary of 9/11, it was an especially meaningful time to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the DSPD, DSFD, LPSO, and other agencies to reflect on the courage of those we lost, the strength of our survivors, and the dedication of those who still protect us.

Thank you, Servpro, for hosting such a special tribute. We will never forget.

Remembering 9/11 Together
We will never forget.

This morning, Mayor Landry joined Denham Springs High School for a truly beautiful and moving 9/11 remembrance ceremony. Students, faculty, government officials, and our local first responders all stood side-by-side to honor the lives and the legacy of that fateful day.

Today, we honor those who lost their lives, support the loved ones left behind, and recognize the incredible strength of all the survivors.

We were thrilled to welcome community leaders and economic development professionals to the Denham Springs Antique Village today as part of the regional Destination Downtown Conference.

Hosted in a powerhouse partnership by Louisiana Main Street, Main Street Arkansas, Mississippi Main Street Association, and Main Street Alabama, this conference celebrates the incredible impact of historic downtowns.

Mayor Landry and Main Street Director Donna Jennings rolled out the red carpet and laced up their walking shoes to lead a special tour and reception highlighting the charm of our historic district. Visit Livingston Parish and Denham Springs Antique Village filled up canvas bags with wonderful gift certificates and coupons.

Between our diverse mix of specialty shops, unique boutiques, local eateries, and a wonderful local bakery, our businesses are about to get a serious workout. Credit cards and appetites at the ready, because they certainly came to experience it all.
