📣‼ REMINDER!!! Club fee payments will close SUNDAY, September 13th at 11:00 p.m.

Our first SFJH Club Day is Wednesday, September 16th. To join a club, students must pay the required Club Fee through SchoolCash Online. Students may join one club, in addition to BETA if eligible.

Please keep the following in mind:
-- Club membership is limited. Once a club reaches its maximum number of members, no additional students will be able to join.
-- A student's spot in a club is secured once the Club Fee has been paid through SchoolCash Online.
-- Students may not attend club meetings until their Club Fee has been paid.
-- Students with outstanding school fees or debts must pay those balances before joining a club.

**Some clubs have already reached the maximum number allowed and may no longer appear as an option on SchoolCash Online.**

🌟 Celebrating Excellence at South Fork! 🌟

During Thursday night’s football game, we were proud to recognize our South Fork Junior High students who earned an Advanced rating on one or more subjects on last year’s LEAP assessment! 📚🏆

These students were invited onto the field to be celebrated for their outstanding academic achievement, hard work, and commitment to excellence.

We love cheering for our Broncos on the field, but we are just as proud to celebrate the incredible accomplishments happening in our classrooms! 💙🤍

Congratulations to each of these students—we are so proud of you! Keep working hard, setting goals, and showing everyone what it means to be a Bronco!

Another great night to be a Bronco! 🐴🏈📣🎶

South Fork earned a hard-fought 20–14 victory over North Corbin!

Our football players battled on the field, our cheerleaders kept the Bronco spirit high on the sidelines, and our band brought the energy from the stands. We are proud of everyone who helped make it such a great night for South Fork!

Next up, the Broncos hit the road! Join us Wednesday in Albany as we cheer on our team for another big game!

Before tonight's game at 6pm, we would like to remind our families and guests about the guidelines for students attending South Fork Junior High home games.

In order to maintain student safety and a positive experience for all guests, all student attendees must enter the stadium with a parent/guardian or responsible adult who will remain INSIDE the stadium for the entire game and provide their ride home. Students may not be dropped off and may not be left inside the stadium without parent/guardian supervision. Parents/guardians must remain INSIDE the stadium the entire time their student is attending the game.

Please review the full guidelines in the graphic before attending tonight's game. Thank you for helping us keep our Bronco community safe and making our home games enjoyable for everyone! 💙🤍🐴

Today is the last day to pay $2 to wear jeans on Friday! This can only be purchased through SchoolCash Online (no cash will be accepted for this fundraiser). All funds collected will be donated to Mighty Moms of Livingston Parish, a local Childhood Hunger Awareness Program. Students that pay $2 will be allowed to wear jeans with a school appropriate shirt on Friday, 9/11.

🩺🔍 Medical Detectives at Work!

Students in Ms. Franatovich's PLTW Medical Detectives class put their investigative skills to the test by conducting mock patient interviews to identify symptoms and work toward a possible diagnosis.

After gathering information from their “patients,” students consulted their Disease Dictionary and compared the reported symptoms to known diseases. Some of the illnesses they investigated included Cholera, Lyme Disease, Zika Virus, Strep Throat/Scarlet Fever, and Measles.

This hands-on activity challenged students to communicate, think critically, solve problems, and use medical reasoning—skills that prepare them for learning today and opportunities in the future.
