Reason for the Season 5K Reason for the Season 5k Run / Walk and Kids Fun Run Saturday Morning of Thanksgiving Weekend

Proceeds to go to American Reformed Church Backpack Ministry benefitting children at DeMotte Elementary School. The Backpack Program is designed to meet the needs of hungry children at times when other resources are not avialable, especially on weekends. Qualified elementary school students are selected by teachers and administrators and sent thome every Friday with a backpack full of nutritious, kid-friendly food.

We are so grateful for our many volunteers! I’m sorry I didn’t get a photo of everyone - including all of those out on the course in the cold!! Many of our team have volunteered every year! This race would not be possible without them! ❤️

The Reason for the Season 5k is on!
Our timing company is coming from Valpo and will be here for the race.
If you opt not to participate this morning , your shirt can be picked up at registration.
If you don’t want to venture out this morning, we will coordinate with the church office as times shirts can be picked up next week. We will post that info ASAP.

We respect each of your decisions of what works best for you individually.
