COMPOSING COMMUNITY -GLOBAL ORG Founded by composer Keren Rosenbaum and the Active Listening Playground became her art form. The passion to inspire more reflexive composers, conductors producers and performers led to meaningful projects all the way from Morocco to Finland, Rwanda, New York, Israel, Netherlands, Ireland and many more. Our mission is to create situations where Reflexive Music and Reflexive Listening can be learned, practiced and performed to increase creativity, activity and sustainable growth.

REFLEXIVE ENVIRONMENT
We developed the Active Listening Playground (ALP) Tools, consisting of what we call The Reflexive Etudes. These musical exercises appear as simple yet they holds the complexity of engaging a life-long practice we begin with the essence of the ALP Safe Environment Model. Etudes can be learned and practiced on any level. There are 3 commitments we adopted and we believe those bring a true listening experience, one that echoes and reflects personal thoughts and self-expression.

We're back in El Salvador for the third training week in our program Soy Música.

We are training 35 Salvadoran music teachers and community facilitators to become community music leaders, and use music as a tool to promote inclusion and social harmony among thousands of children in El Salvador.

The program is in partnership with Unicef El Salvador and the Ministerio de Educación E.S.

Our ALP Trainer Umm Zakaria is currently participating in an online course by Project Zero. The course is called "Teaching for Understanding" and she discovers how the ALP method had a huge impact on UNDERSTANDING music as a subject beyond reading notes and note values. Way to go for Active Listening Playground - Morocco and Composing Community !!!

ABOUT Composing Community Global Organization, founded by composer Keren Rosenbaum, teaches and practices the arts of play. We compose communities by invoking playfulness to create a cultures of innovation
