8th Grade Charger Families, we continue to celebrate our rising 9th graders this Saturday, May 16th. Deltona Middle's 8th-grade students are invited to attend their formal dance from 6-9 p.m. Students are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, as they may not be available on the day of the event, since we will be providing dinner and dessert. The cost is $30. Please see the flyer for more details. Dress code is strictly enforced.

Attention Charger Families, this Friday, May 15th, at 7pm, The Performing Arts Academy presents When Bad Things Happen to Good Actors (a comedy about The Wizard of Oz...gone wrong), and a Musical Showcase featuring various monologues, pantomimes, and a final musical/dance performance of “I'm Just Ken” from the Barbie movie.

Tickets are on sale now in Focus under 'Purchase and Pay'. Online ticket sales will end Friday at 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 each (kids 6 and under are free). Tickets will be sold at the door (cash only). Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase ($1 each). Please come out and support PA Academy's final performance of the school year! Arrive early...doors open at 6:30PM. We hope to see you there!

Attention Charger Families 🗣 Deltona Middle is looking for parents, students, and community members to join our School Advisory Council. This is a good opportunity to get in on what's happening on our campus and in our community! We'd love to have you join! Please stop by the Front Office between now and Friday to secure your vote and your voice at Deltona Middle! We want to hear from you regarding things like school improvement, family engagement nights, positive behavior initiatives, etc. Our final SAC Meeting for the year will be this Thursday, May 14th at 5:30. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to our Charger Team! We are having so much fun honoring our dedicated faculty and staff members! Special thanks to Mrs. Carlee McKinney and the West Volusia Tourism team for helping us organize our week and secure some donations.

On Monday, we kicked the week off with a heart breakfast. "I-HOPe you all know how much you mean to the Charger Family!" Today, we enjoyed lunch with our special guest server, Deltona's very own Vice Mayor, Mrs. Maritza Avila-Vazquez.

Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, May 6th, for our Family Science Night. It's a great opportunity to help our 8th graders prepare for their state assessment. It'll be fun for the whole family with hands on activities, and you'll learn the science behind making ice cream! The event begins at 6 p.m.
