Deltona Library Fans Who are the Friends of Deltona Library? The Friends is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer group who support the priorities and programs of the Library.

We raise money by running our used book store, The Book Nest. Come see us. The Book Nest, is a used book store, run by volunteer staff, and selling gently used books, magazines, puzzles, games, CDs, DVDs, hard back and paperbacks. The store is open during regular library hours and is always looking for interested, committed people to become a volunteer. Call 386-624-8767

Adults can learn about leaving a meaningful legacy with Marni Jameson, syndicated columnist and author of “What to Do With Everything You Own to Leave the Legacy You Want."

The program will explore estate planning, highlight and help you navigate wills, trusts, family dynamics, and your ultimate downsize, so you leave behind a blessing not a burden.

A Book to a Play, how many can you name?

Our very own Book Nest volunteer, Stacey Guillen, a newcomer to the Shoestring stage, will be taking a role in A Murder is Announced.

The run begins on September 11 at Shoestring Theater in Lake Helen. It's a lovely theater celebrating 60 years of fun for theater goers. Check their FB site or website for more information.

Agatha Christie published this book in 1950 and it was adapted for the stage in 1977. It is estimated that over 40 of her stories and books have become plays or movies.
