Homelessness among families is a devastating experience that often goes unnoticed. It is not always apparent on the streets, but rather in hidden situations such as living in a car, staying at a motel, or seeking temporary shelter with relatives or friends. To address this issue, Family Promise of Southeast Florida has significantly broadened our efforts within Palm Beach and Broward Counties. By donating, you can help us offer additional temporary housing, meals, comprehensive support services, mental health therapy, regular outreach, and support to those in need.

We have some amazing news to share with you! We are expanding our regional efforts to better serve our community and updating our name to Family Promise of Southeast Florida.πŸ’œ

A severe shortage of affordable housing is driving an increasing number of South Florida families into crisis and leaving countless children living in cars, overcrowded apartments, and shelters. In response, our organization is stepping up to serve families in need throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties. β€œOur name has changed, but our mission to empower families in making their transition from homelessness to sustainable independence remains the same,” says Jennifer Raymond, executive director of Family Promise of Southeast Florida.

Make sure to follow us on our new page Family Promise of Southeast Florida. You can also discover how we are growing our regional efforts to provide greater outreach and support to those in our community on our new web address: FamilyPromiseSEFL.org

Mission & Core Goals

β€œWe believe that every child deserves a home. We empower situationally homeless families with dependent children transition to sustainable independence.” Our core goal is providing the very basic needs of a child: shelter, meals, human interaction as well as wraparound services including trauma-focused counseling.
