The City of Delphos is currently accepting letters of interest for the position of Mayor.

Key Details:

- Application Deadline: Friday, September 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
- Interviews: Evening of Monday, September 21, 2026

Requirements:

- Must be a resident of Delphos for at least 6 months;
- Must be a registered voter; and
- Must have voted in the last 2 elections.

Resumes and letters of interest may be submitted to the Administrative Assistant's Office at the Municipal Building (608 N. Canal, Delphos, Ohio) or via email to [email protected].

Please find below the tentative schedule for street work on N. Jefferson Street (between Fifth Street and North Street). All work is weather-dependent, and any rain will delay the project schedule.

- Thursday, September 10, 2026: Sweeping the street.

- Tuesday, September 15, 2026: Closing the southbound lane to apply Liquid Road. Street will be closed it 7:30 a.m.

During treatment, each lane will receive one coat in the morning and a second coat in the afternoon once the first is dry. There will be no access to driveways or the active traffic lane during this process.

N. Jefferson Street residents: Please park across the street or in another location, and ensure you do not block the open traffic lane.

Product Information:

- Liquid Road: Mixed with specially graded aggregate and applied to the road surface to create a durable, slip-resistant finish that extends pavement life.
- Polymer-Modified Masterseal (PMM): Replenishes the binder lost through aging and weathering, providing a protective barrier against moisture, UV rays, chemicals, and salt.

Please be aware that Northbound Jefferson Street, from Fifth Street to North Street, will be closed all day today for asphalt sealing. This closure includes all east side intersections and alley entrances along this stretch.

Please be advised that we are scheduled to apply Liquid Road to Jefferson Street, between Fifth Street and North Street, on Wednesday, September 9th, and Thursday, September 10th, from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM daily.

The work schedule will be as follows:

- Wednesday, September 9th: Northbound lane
- Thursday, September 10th: Southbound lane

Each lane will receive one coat in the morning and a second coat in the afternoon once the first is dry. There will be no access to driveways or the specific traffic lane being treated during this entire process.

Residents of N Jefferson Street: Please plan to park across the street or in another location. Do not block the open traffic lane under any circumstances. In the event of rain, the project schedule will be delayed by one day.
