Douglas Lloyd for Bethlehem School Board - May 17, 2022 My platform is based around non-partisan ideas that we should all be able to agree on. The outreach from the community has been overwhelming.

5) Responsible use of Tax Dollars I stand for parental rights to know what is being taught in the form of curriculum transparency as well as freedom of choice in regards to any and all medical treatments. Many parents in t

he district have had their children discriminated against without any regard for their medical conditions and we have heard horror stories about young children unable to breath on hot buses without air conditioning, among many others. Due to the damage these pandemic policies have done to our children's physical and mental health, I'm committed to quickly and safely returning us to a pre-pandemic learning environment. Our children have lost much of the last two years, so we don't have another day to waste. Next is a focus on elite academics, as I'm very concerned we are setting the bar too low. Bethlehem has been a top school since long before I graduated in 1996 and I want to make sure we preserve that for students of all backgrounds and skillsets. Our kids need to be prepared to compete in the global economy and we have to focus the limited amount of school time equipping them to do that. Extracurricular activities are so critical to the development of our young people, and yet we saw the cancellation of entire seasons, exclusion and segregation due to medical restrictions or the unavailability of activities that appeal to students from all walks of life. Lastly, I strive for responsible use of tax dollars and maximum use of our technology investments. The tax burden is extremely high in Bethlehem and is primarily driven by the schools. With decades of defense contracting, security systems integration and network engineering, I can provide real world, data driven analysis, and leverage our technology in ways that will make our schools better, safer, and more efficient than ever before.

Hey Bethlehem Central School District, Why are you teaching our elementary children that it's cool to break our immigration laws?

this is called indoctrination. We do not encourage our children to break laws and then call for justice. We do not lie to our children and tell them persistence in breaking laws that PROTECT OUR COUNTRY FROM INVASION AND TERRORISTS can turn the tide. This is far-leftist filth being taught to our children as fact. Unbelievable.

Who is dangerous to children? Who is teaching our children the woke mind virus?

Police are only Nazi's when they violate the constitution, which was in fact proven in Supreme court and illegal vaccine mandates were dropped. Bethlehem Dems WILL VIOLATE YOUR RIGHTS, all while believing they're the good guys, and this is proof.

Wow. Bethlehem only spent 260k out of the 6.1 million they received in arp and esser funds to protect our children.

Did they buy the PPE they received money for? Nope.

Did they upgrade the ventilation systems they received money for? Nope.

Did they add outdoor spaces they received money for? Nope.

Instead the force masked and vaxxed our kids. And if you didnt vax your kid, they traumatized the kid instead by teaching your kid they are dangerous to others because they are not vaxxed. This is incompetence and negligence at its finest.
