Heads up everyone, please follow our hopefully temporary page for the time being, we woke up yesterday and Facebook had removed full control of the page to both of our admins, so neither one of us Noah, or Michael can post or see comments on the page. How are we posting this? Currently through our instagram page. We cannot do live severe coverage on this page at this time. We are working with Facebook to hopefully get this issue fixed. But we have no timeline. So please follow the new but hopefully temporary page until we can update on if we get access back to this page. Thank you for the support and we apologize.

Arkansas may see a return to a wetter weather pattern during the June 8–12 timeframe, with above-average chances for rain and thunderstorms across the state. While this doesn’t mean it will rain every day or that flooding is expected, the overall setup appears favorable for more frequent rounds of showers and storms than normal for early June. Any rainfall would be beneficial for areas that have been dealing with drier conditions, though we’ll continue to monitor for localized heavy rainfall where storms repeatedly move over the same locations. Details on rainfall amounts and exact locations remain uncertain, but confidence is increasing that a more active pattern is on the way.

As expected, we’ve continued to have widely scattered coverage of thunderstorms through this evening. As of 11:11 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms still continue though in very far southern portions of the area. Strong winds and hail are the only concerns.

Quick mid-afternoon update: Continuing to entertain the idea of rain chances around 30% for this evening across the area. As of now, not much development has been seen, but a weak disturbance approaching from the north could help spark some development later. Will continue to monitor this potential.
