Have you ever seen a 6-5-4-6-3 double play? It was so amazing we aren’t even sure if this is exactly right- but “Imagine this… Marion…. 7:15 pm… April 8…. Grounder hit to Lannie Conner. She looks the runner back throws the 3rd (Elle Miller), who then has a runner in a pickle. Miller throws to vining at 2nd who runs at her throws back to Miller (or Conner- we were too excited to remember) who tags the runner. Brynn Summers is playing first. Runs to 2nd for the pickle but we got that out. Miller or Conner throws to summers who is cover 2nd. No one is on first but there is a runner. Summers puts on her speedy shoes and runs the runner down for a Double Play!”
White faced off against Upper Sandusky. The game was called when we were up 10 but the inning was looking fruitful.

BVMS White (Varsity 1) won big over Upper Sandusky Lady Rams 14-4 on Wednesday.
BVMS White (Varsity 1) opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. BVMS White (Varsity 1) first got on the board when Elle Miller singled, scoring one run.
BVMS White (Varsity 1) added to their early lead in the top of the second inning after BVMS White (Varsity 1) scored on a passed ball, Adams doubled to center field, Sutton Flegm singled down the right field line, and Upper Sandusky Lady Rams committed an error, each scoring one run.
BVMS White (Varsity 1) added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Maddie Halt doubled to center field, Lannie Conner doubled to left field, and Peyton Meisner grounded out, each scoring one run.
Adams earned the win for BVMS White (Varsity 1). The pitcher surrendered three hits and four runs over four innings, striking out eight and walking five. Ally Swavel took the loss for Upper Sandusky Lady Rams. The starter went four innings, surrendering 11 runs (eight earned) on 12 hits, striking out five and walking one.
BVMS White (Varsity 1) collected 13 hits in the game. Conner, Miller, and Halt each collected two hits for BVMS White (Varsity 1). Conner went 2-for-3 at the plate and led the team with three runs batted in. Conner and Kensley Vining each stole multiple bases for BVMS White (Varsity 1). BVMS White (Varsity 1) ran wild on the base paths, piling up seven stolen bases for the game. BVMS White (Varsity 1) turned one double play in the game. BVMS White (Varsity 1) didn't commit a single error in the field. Conner had the most chances in the field with eight.
Addison Rowe drove the middle of the lineup, leading Upper Sandusky Lady Rams with three runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-2 on the day. Logan Rowland went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Upper Sandusky Lady Rams in hits. Kallyn Schneider paced Upper Sandusky Lady Rams with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating five walks for the game.
Next up for BVMS White (Varsity 1) is a game against RIDGEDALE 1 on Thursday.
