We are located on a County owned 300 acre tract of land that formerly housed the Shady Lane Manor. The property is well kept by the County Maintenance Department. We pride ourselves in being people friendly and dog friendly! Adopt from us for $6.00!!!

Help us congratulate Harlow and his new family on his recent adoption.

Harlow has been placed on a temporary hold for adoption. This means he has a new home if everything goes according to plan. We greatly appreciate all the calls and messages we have received inquiring about him. ❤️

Hi there all our friends!
This handsome boy is Harlow. He's roughly 5 years old. He's up to date on his shots and has been neutered. Harlow came to us on 4/20/26 as a stray. He's been a very good boy here at the shelter, he does great with the staff, keeps his kennel clean, and enjoys playing with other dogs. If you or someone you know is looking to add a new furry friend to their family please give us a call and set up a time to meet Harlow!!

Please help us celebrate with Stevie and his new family upon finalizing his adoption. Stevie came to our shelter as a blind stray about two weeks ago. Later on it was discovered he had been abandoned in our county. His new family heard about his situation and immediately set up a meet and greet. They loved him at first sight and I'm sure he felt the same way even though he couldn't see them.
Please take a moment and give Stevie and his new family your heartfelt congratulations! Good luck buddy we are all pulling for you.

Patsy is still waiting on her forever home. She has been with us since April 01,2026 and has been nothing but a good girl. She does well with other dogs and staff here at the shelter. If you are interested in meeting her please contact our shelter to set up a meet and greet. Thank you
