Big news for young golfers in Delaware ⛳️

Hidden Valley Golf Course is now partnering with Youth on Course to make the game more affordable and accessible for kids.

Through this program, youth can play rounds for just $3 at Hidden Valley and $5 or less at participating courses across Ohio (and beyond).

Even better, a 12-month Youth on Course membership is just $60, opening the door to dozens of courses and more opportunities to play.

Getting started is easy:
Book a tee time, check in with your Youth on Course membership, and you’re good to go.

We’re excited to bring this opportunity to our community and help grow the next generation of golfers. Click the link for more info and to register: https://youthoncourse.org/

Join us for a meaningful walking tour through Oak Grove Cemetery as we honor and remember those who served in the American Revolution. This special program, Paragraphs for Patriots, brings history to life by highlighting the stories of individuals who helped shape our nation’s earliest days.

The Delaware City Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution has spent extensive time researching and studying those who are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, uncovering the remarkable lives and service of these early American patriots. Their work helps ensure these stories are not forgotten.

This event is part of the America 250 recognition, celebrating our nation’s 250th anniversary.

📅 Saturday, May 9, 2026
📍 Oak Grove Cemetery Main Entrance
334 S. Sandusky St.

We invite you to come walk, learn, and reflect with us as we honor the legacy of those who served in the American Revolution.

🦆💛 Ducklings saved, day made! 💛🦆

On Friday, we got a call from a resident on Colony Ridge Drive about a very stressed mama duck and a storm drain full of trouble. Our Public Utilities crew jumped into action, with Matt Joseph and Mason Fox heading out to help.

After a little teamwork (and some serious peeping from below), they safely rescued all 10 ducklings from the storm sewer! 🐥🐥🐥

Fun side note: mama duck got a little impatient and tried to move along after 7 were out… but don’t worry, our crew made sure the whole family was reunited before sending them on their way. ❤️

Big thanks to Matt (featured in the photos!) and Mason for going above and beyond. Not all heroes wear capes… some wear work boots and rescue ducklings. 👏
