Knowlton Twp. Fire and Rescue Company #1 - Station 41 Knowlton Twp Fire & Rescue Company No 1’s volunteer membership provides fire, and rescue services to the Townships of Knowlton and Hardwick, New Jersey.

Knowlton Twp Fire and Rescue Company covers 3,100 residents within 36 square miles. Including Knowlton Twp, Hardwick Twp,Worthington State Forest, Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, and the Hamlets of Columbia, Delaware, Polkville, Hainesburg, Mount Pleasant, Warrington, and Centerville. Knowlton Twp Fire Rescue is known for the large amount of highway they cover including almost 9 mile

s of Interstate 80 (including one of the highest accident prone sections of highway in the state) and the end of both of Rt 94 and Rt 46.

Today, KTFR completed annual Hose a ladder testing. This stringent testing ensures that all our hose and ladder function properly and are ready at a moments notice to work properly at the scene of an emergency. This is just one set of testing completed each and every year to ensure we are ready to respond and compliant with rules and regulations that govern the fire service. Other testing includes but it not limited to fire pumps, extrication tools, SCBA (air8 packs), fire extinguishers, etc.

We at KTFR always appreciate our neighbors' patience and understanding, especially during testing like this and our monthly equipment check.

Interested in giving a hand? KTFR is always looking for new members, EMTs, firefighters, etc. Free training is provided. Come down to the station any Monday at 7PM or go to knowltonfirerescue.com/join for more information.
