Did you know that the Humane Society of Delaware County helps eligible families with children under 18 access free or low-cost veterinary care for up to two family pets? The PACT Program (Pets and Children Together) teaches kids about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. Services covered include:

Spay and neuter surgeries
Vaccinations
Flea and tick prevention
Wellness exams

Through our PACT Program (Pets and Children Together), the Humane Society of Delaware County helps eligible families with children under 18 access free or low-cost veterinary care for up to two family pets.

Syntero Summer Groups are available for all students who attend school in Delaware and Morrow Counties. Groups will be offered most weeks starting NEXT WEEK--June 8th and ending August 6th and run Monday through Thursday.

Monday is the start of this year's Fans For Friends box fan drive! The program, coordinated by Delaware County Emergency Management and People In Need, Inc., assists Delaware County residents with a way to beat the heat this summer. Drop off locations are included on the flyer below. Let's help our friends and neighbors stay cool this summer by donating to Fans For Friends!

Happy Friday, Delaware County! Monday officially begins the Delaware County Emergency Management Fans For Friends box fan drive to help Delaware County residents in need beat the heat this summer. Extreme heat is the #1 cause of weather-related deaths in the US each year. Working with our partners at People In Need, Inc. (PIN), we set a goal of 350 donated box fans to be distributed to Delaware County residents served by PIN. Last year, your generosity positively impacted 244 local families. A special shout-out to our donation collection partners at all of our fire departments, EMS stations, and public libraries in Delaware County, as well as at SourcePoint and PIN. Starting Monday, June 1st, and continuing through September 15th, you can drop off a new box fan at any of these locations. Please see the flyer for days/times.
