Due to unexpected illness, today's archery program from 9A-Noon is unfortunately CANCELLED. However, fun is still to be had at Alum Creek State Park! Please stop by our Nature Center from 9A-Noon to visit the LIVE animals, or stop by the Alum Creek Campground camp store and play our newly-renovated miniature golf course!

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We hope to see you at our NEXT archery program taking place on Sunday, June 7th, from 9A-Noon!

Position Summary: Summer Job
The Campground Cashier plays a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for campers and visitors. This position handles daily campground operations, guest assistance, emergency communication, and front office upkeep.
Job Duties:
• Register campers, assign campsites, and process daily receipts and attendance reports.
• Assist campers by answering questions, resolving issues, and providing information about campground and park facilities.
• Issue visitor passes and manage access to the campground.
• Answer telephone inquiries and provide clear, friendly information to the public.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming camp check in office.

Alum Creek State Park Campground
2026 Summer Activities

Provided by the Camp Hosts and Volunteers in the Park – Friends Group. All donations are appreciated and will be used for the betterment of the campground. All activities will be held at the amphitheater unless stated otherwise.

The following activities will be held weekly between Memorial Day and Labor Day, May 23 to September 3:

• Thursdays – Live Music – 6-8pm: Weather permitting.

• Saturdays – Pancake and sausage breakfast, coffee, juice – 8-10am

• Sundays – Donuts and coffee, juice – 8-10am

Saturday May 9th Mother’s Day Craft – 11am-12pm

MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATIONS
Saturday, May 23rd

• Pancake and Sausage Breakfast – 8-10am

• Memorial Day Craft – 11am-12pm

• Parade – 2-3pm: Nature Center. For all campers. Walk, pull wagons, ride carts or bikes. Come early to decorate your ride. Parade Route – Service Road beside Nature Center to Road B to Road A back to Nature Center. Please be aware that the roads on the route will be closed to traffic during the parade.

Sunday, May 24th

• Sausage Gravy and Biscuits Breakfast – 8-10am

• Mini Golf Tournament – 1-2pm: At the mini golf course. Compete in our mini golf tournament for the whole family held by our Camp Hosts. Participants will play in these age groups of 4-8, 9-12, 13-17, 18 and up. This will be a maximum of 4-strokes-per-hole game. Every participant will receive a prize at the end with the winner in each age group choosing first. Special prizes for any hole-in-one!

• Campground Bingo – 7-9pm

• Party in the Park – 6-9pm

• Parade – 2-3pm – Nature Center. For all campers. Walk, pull wagons, ride carts or bikes. Come early to decorate your ride. • Play in the Sand/Sno-cones/Bubble Fun – 3-4pm: Kids can kick off their shoes and play in the sand at the playground near the Nature Center. We will have shovels, buckets, and sand-forming molds on hand to play with. Enjoy a sno-cone to cool off while you play and chase giant bubbles.
