Concord Township Fire Department is proud to be taking part in the National Fallen Firefighters Light The Night. This event started on April 26th and runs through May 3rd. and takes place annually in conjunction with the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial weekend.

Concord Twp. Fire had the joy of taking Indian Springs Elementary Student Cameron to school this morning. Cameron won the prize of getting a ride to school in a fire truck.

Last month crews reviewed and trained on ice rescue.

DCEMS had the distinct honor of standing by with our partners from Concord Township Fire Department, Scioto Township/Ostrander Fire Department, Tri Township Firefighter's Association and Radnor Township Fire Department for the funeral procession of retired Firefighter Dan Huffman. FF Huffman was a long-serving member of Liberty Township / Powell Fire Department, and Radnor Township Fire Department. FF Huffman also served as an instructor in the high school Fire Science program at Delaware Area Career Center and he was involved with the Delaware County Fair, Delaware Ohio, Ohio State - Delaware County 4-H and much more. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time and we are grateful for what FF Huffman gave to the community.

Swing through and drop off a new or used coat Sunday December 7th from 12pm-4pm. We will also be excepting new unwrapped toys until December 12th. All new donations will support the local People In Need of Delaware county. All used coats will support the Hope Center in Marysville, OH.
