The most recent update that Mayor Freshcorn has shared is that the storm is now moved up to a BLIZZARD, but the information below remains the same. Please help our snow plows and emergency vehicles by removing your vehicles on our emergency routes. Vehicles need to be removed from Main Street/611 as well as Shepherd Ave. Off street parking will be available at Shell Park on Oak Street until the storm passes. Please stay safe, and check on your neighbors. 

UPDATE!!
The National Weather Service has updated the storm from a Storm Watch to a Storm Warning. Snow totals are from 8 to 12 inches or more. Because of that the Borough has called a snow emergency for DWG from 5am Sunday 22nd to 8pm Monday 23rd. No cars will be allowed to park on the street during the emergency or they will be towed and fines will be issued. If you need off street parking you may use Schull Park on Oak Street until the storm passes.landlords please share with your tenants. Please share this post and inform your neighbors. Santa is coming to town here in Delaware Water Gap! Due to popular requests, Santa’s helpers made a bit more room on their truck…so there is STILL time to get your gifts in to our Fire Company to have Santa deliver them to your children, big kids, doggies, etc. for tomorrow night! Contact Chief Mauceri (570)369-7826 to drop off your wrapped gifts and he will take care of the rest! This is always a great event and the kids love it!🎅🏼🎄🎁🧑🏻‍🚒

A great event for a great cause! Come find all of the decorated statues in our local Water Gap businesses and enter the raffle for prizes! The proceeds for the cool cat statues were donated to to 3 local rescues. 🐈‍⬛❤️🐈
