Some of you asked while we were out and about in the community today about the text you received. Please review the information attached!

⚠️ Community Update – Town of Delavan⚠️

Many residents remain without power following the recent severe weather. Please continue to check on your neighbors, especially older adults and those with medical or mobility needs.

As crews continue conducting damage assessments throughout the Town today, we are asking residents to review the attached flyer. If your home or property sustained storm damage, please call 211 to report it. Reporting damage helps emergency management assess the overall impact, identify resource needs, and determine eligibility for additional assistance.

Thank you for your continued patience, cooperation, and support as recovery efforts continue. Please continue to use caution around downed trees, power lines, and other storm-related hazards.

Thankful for our partners at Culver’s of Delavan! Please read below information:

Attention Friends of Delavan Lake and Surrounding Area, Culver's of Delavan will open our doors at 7:00 a.m. today, July 4, 2026, providing a location for individuals to recharge their electronic devices and escape the heat. Complimentary coffee, soda, and water will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for those in need. Our regular hours of operation will be 10:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m.

Today, TDFD EMS members participated in a K9 Point of Care course taught by Operational K9 Medical Team of Wisconsin. Members learned about how to medically care for operational K9 dogs in emergency situations. A huge thank you to the instructors at OPK9 of WI for taking time out of their Saturday to share their knowledge!
