DeLand, located in Volusia County, Florida, is one of the state’s small town treasures. DeLand is the county seat and is known as a city that cherishes culture, the arts, history, the environment and a quality lifestyle. Tree-shaded streets adorned with handsome homes complement the campus of Florida's oldest private college, Stetson University. The school’s campus is classified as a National Hist

oric District. Nearby, the city’s historic downtown district, lined with notable gift shops and restaurants, has been recognized as a national Mainstreet program and was recently named the Best MainStreet in America. The district is often the centerpiece for dozens of special events throughout the year. The outskirts of town also have plenty of offerings including an emerging retail sector at the southern city limits and a growing commercial sector to the north including the DeLand Municipal Airport. Conveniently located along the I-4 corridor, DeLand is a short drive to a number of attractions in Orlando and or the beaches along Florida’s Atlantic Coast.
