On this clear blue day, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost, honor the brave first responders who gave so much, and reflect on the strength and unity that followed.

May we never forget the lives, the heroes, and the reminder that we are stronger when we stand together.

A massive thank you to Duke Energy for their incredible commitment to our community through their Power of Giving initiative! In 2025 alone, Duke Energy employees donated $5.6 million and volunteered over 40,000 hours to support more than 4,500 organizations nationwide.

We are so grateful to be on the receiving end of that generosity! The team at Duke Energy DeLand Ops recently dropped off a fantastic haul of essential items for our neighbors in need—including canned goods, bed sheets, towels, washcloths, toiletries, baby wipes, and pacifiers.

To top it off, they contributed $200 directly to our Second Harvest Food Bank account. Thanks to our partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida we buy food at deeply discounted prices, meaning every single dollar goes even further to feed local families.

We are deeply thankful to the Duke Energy DeLand team for their ongoing partnership and continued commitment to supporting our mission.💙
