💦☀️ SPLASH PAD SEASON HAS COME TO AN END! ☀️💦

Precinct 3 would like to let our community know that the Long Memorial Splash Pad, located at 1175 Lenawee Ave, is now CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. 🏖️💧

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out this summer to cool off, have fun, and make memories with family and friends! ❤️

🌸 Looking ahead to Spring Break: We will evaluate the possibility of reopening the splash pad for Spring Break, weather and facility conditions permitting.

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next year for another fun-filled splash pad season! 💦🌞

Working together for our community! 🤝🇺🇸

Today, I had the opportunity to meet with County Judge Lewis G. Owens Jr. and Javier Salinas, Regional Director for the Office of U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, to discuss important issues and opportunities for Val Verde County.

Our conversation focused on federal government support, the border wall, data centers, funding opportunities to repair the Amistad Dam, and other resources that can help strengthen and support our community.

Building strong relationships with our state and federal partners is an important part of making sure Val Verde County has a voice and is aware of the resources available to us.

I appreciate the time and continued communication as we work together for the future of our community. 🇺🇸🤝

Effective September 21, NWS Infested Zone 04C in Edwards, Sutton, and Val Verde counties has been modified and reduced in size. Based on epidemiological assessment, portions of the zone in these counties have met the criteria for release from movement restrictions, while others will remain.
