WE REMEMBER. WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

The Del City Fire Department was proud to be represented at this year’s OKC 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb by Captain Vernon, Corporal Belshe, Corporal Gandy, and Firefighter White.

Each of them climbed 110 floors in honor and remembrance of the firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.

After completing the climb, each rang the bell—a powerful tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of our fallen brothers and sisters.

343 firefighters. 110 floors. We climb because they climbed. We remember because their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

The Del City Fire Department would like to sincerely thank the citizens of Del City who got out and voted today on the GO Bond.

Today is a big day for public safety and for the future of our community. Your support is an investment in the men and women who serve Del City every day and in our ability to continue providing the level of service our citizens deserve.

Thank you for taking care of us and supporting your first responders. We don’t take that support for granted.

You took care of us today, and we promise we will continue to take care of you when you need us most.

Anybody missing this little guy? 🐑
The sheep, not the firefighter. The firefighter is accounted for and, as far as we know, has a home. 😂
This woolly wanderer was found roaming around SE 29th Street and is now safe and sound at Fire Station 1.
If you recognize him—or if you just realized your yard is suspiciously short one sheep—please call non-emergency dispatch at 405-677-2443 to arrange pickup.
Proof of ownership may require knowing his baaaaackground. 🐑🚒

The Del City Fire Department is proud to host Fire Officer I class this week in our Emergency Operations Center.

We are excited to welcome firefighters from departments across the metro as they continue their professional development and leadership training. Agencies represented include:

Last Friday, we had a great time joining the Del City Chamber of Commerce for the Fill the Bus school supply drive at Walmart Oklahoma City - Tinker Diagonal St! 📝 ✂️📚

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to donate school supplies and help local students start the school year prepared for success. We appreciate the generosity of our community and the opportunity to support such a meaningful event together.

With these Oklahoma temperatures, the only prescription was plenty of water! We had a blast helping the DCHS Band students cool off during their annual Band Water Day. 💧🚒

The Del City Fire Department is honored and proud to have been nominated and selected as 99.7 The Wolf’s - Fire Station of the Month!

This recognition is especially meaningful because departments must first be nominated, and then the winner is chosen by the listeners’ votes. Knowing that so many people in our community took the time to vote for us makes this award even more special.

A huge thank you to Oklahoma State Firefighters Association, 99.7 The Wolf, Coe Plumbing, Inc. for the nomination, and everyone who cast a vote in support of the Del City Fire Department. We are grateful for your confidence in our department and the opportunity to serve this community.

We are incredibly proud of our firefighters and honored to receive this recognition.
