e for excellence with the development of unique programs that provide unparalleled service to our community. To name a few, we have established a housing liaison program to engage students in the residence halls to support and educate on life skills. In addition, we have cross trained officers to serve as paramedics to improve medical response time for critical care. Furthermore, our department is home to one of the nation's largest university police K-9 explosive handler detection teams to prepare and secure for large scale events on campus and in the community. We work closely with the City of DeKalb Police and other law enforcement agencies to proactively reduce crime and address quality of life issues in our community. We treat all citizens with dignity and respect while providing fair and impartial police and public safety services to the University and DeKalb community. 🐾: Stress piling up? Take a quick reset, step outside, go for a walk, or unplug for a bit. Small breaks can make a big difference in your mental well-being.

🐾: Look out for your fellow Huskies. A quick check-in with a friend can go a long way, sometimes just knowing someone cares makes all the difference.
