Special thanks to Old National Bank. Today they visited with our 3rd graders to kick off our economy unit. We look forward to our partnership with them as the students learn more about financial literacy.

Welsh Park is one of the most important locations to achieving the goals of the Annie Glidden North Revitalization Plan. Check out the information on the Summer Lunch at the Park returning again this summer and providing free lunches to any child 0-18.

The lunch is a partnership between First United Methodist Church of DeKalb and the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

Attention all incoming and outgoing 5th grade Dual Language students!
Do you want to continue practicing your Spanish reading, comprehension, and discussion skills over the summer? Join Ms. Martinez for a fun and flexible Summer Reading Book Club!

This summer we will be reading Yo Noemí León by Pam Muñoz Ryan completely in Spanish while holding discussions in both Spanish and English to help strengthen understanding and confidence in both languages.

📖 We will meet virtually twice a week throughout the summer.
🎥 Can’t make every session? No problem! Videos will be posted in Google Classroom so you can catch up anytime.
