KSRA Families and Friends,
I want to thank you for welcoming me into your circle of care! I have had an amazing 9 years leading the KSRA team, but the time has come for me to go onto building another agency’s programs and teams. While I leave, I have great faith that Merri and Logan have Camp Maple Leaf in good hands, and that Anna will keep A.R.I.S.E moving forward and making this summer amazing!
My time here was spent alongside families, building KSRA to what it is today; the tradition of Camp Maple Leaf, the creation of Camp posABILITY to continue the fun throughout the summer, the start of our Special Olympic sports program, the launch of the A.R.I.S.E. day program, the development of the Foundation, and offering programs and events for Veterans. All this happened while also growing staff at all levels and welcoming many student interns as they begin their professional journeys.
Throughout it all, we continued to play, laugh, learn, and grow within the community!
It has been an exciting ride. I am proud of what we accomplished, and I wish you all continued growth into a bright future!
