β€’ Monday, June 8, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. South Walton Annex Board Room 31 Coastal Centre Boulevard Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459

β€’ Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. DeFuniak Springs Boardroom 571 US Highway 90 East DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433

The purpose of these workshops is to receive community input on Recreation Fields and Facility needs.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend and provide input.

Please be advised that two or more commissioners may attend.

Walton County Code Compliance Director Tony Cornman, on behalf of the Walton County Board of County Commissioners, has announced a temporary Code Enforcement Lien Mitigation Program that offers property owners a significant financial reprieve.

Approved by the Board at their regular meeting on May 26, 2026, this limited-time initiative allows qualifying property owners to fully resolve outstanding code fines and liens by paying just 10% of the total balance, effectively forgiving 90% of the debt.

The program is officially open and will conclude on September 30, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements:

β€’ The property must currently be in full compliance with all county codes.

β€’ All associated administrative fees must be paid in full.

β€’ The owner cannot own any other properties with active code violations.

Property owners with active, non-compliant code cases who are currently accruing daily fines are also eligible to participate. To qualify, owners must resolve all outstanding violations, achieve full compliance, and meet all program criteria prior to the September 30 deadline.
