The late Barbara Cummings always had compassion and a heart for pregnant women. In 2003, Barbara and her husband, Bob - members of the First Baptist Church of DeFuniak Springs - started the Pregnancy Support Center as a free outreach to pregnant women.
While we are not a medical facility, we do offer pregnancy tests. One of the most important services that we offer is our Earn While You Learn program where moms are given the opportunity to take classes to earn mommy money and then use that money to shop in our boutique for items such as: maternity clothes, baby clothes, diapers, wipes, baby formula & food, infant carriers, convertible car seats, rockers, high chairs, cribs, cradles, sleepers, bassinets, changing tables, and so much more. Moms can stay with the program until their babies 1st birthday in order to ensure that they take advantage of all that we have to offer!
Over the years, we have seen the impact that the Pregnancy Support Center (PSC-FBC) has had on hundreds of pregnant women and their babies. All services at the PSC are free of charge and totally confidential!
