🐾Happy National Dog Day!🐾

We have plenty of dog lovers around the Clerk’s Office, so we couldn’t let National Dog Day pass without celebrating the four-legged family members who make life better.

They greet us like we’ve been gone for years when it’s been eight minutes, happily handle anything that hits the kitchen floor, and somehow know when we need them most.

No dog? No problem. We’re pretty sure scrolling through a comment section full of pups still counts as a mood booster.

So, for the sake of a complete and accurate record, we need photographic evidence. ⚖️🐾

🎉24 years ago, Clerk Sconiers began her career with the Walton County Clerk’s Office. Today, she has the honor of leading the office where that journey began.

A lot has changed since 2002. Technology has transformed the way we work, and somehow, we have more passwords than we know what to do with.

What hasn’t changed is her commitment to public service, our community, and the people she serves and works alongside.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate the journey that brought her here and 24 years of dedicated service to the Clerk’s Office.
