Three 3️⃣ big wins for 3️⃣ Walton Air Rescue flight crew in May!

Kassie crushed her Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN). Aley snagged her Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN). And Christian leveled up again with his Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP C).

That makes three WAR clinicians earning new credentials in May. Way above what’s required for the flight line, and honestly, we’re pretty hyped about it.

Worst‑case scenarios aren’t easy to talk about. But, being ready for them is part of the job and part of protecting our community.

Today, Walton Air Rescue teamed up with Washington County Fire Department for full‑scale landing zone and aircraft emergency training running through what crews should expect, how to prepare, and how to respond if an aircraft emergency or crash happens.

This training ensures that when the unexpected happens our teams are ready to respond with precision, coordination, and care.

Many times the stories of heroes and survivors are closely connected. Call it fate. Call it divine intervention.

As medical facilities across the region gathered for National Trauma Survivors Day, Walton Air Rescue’s own were honored at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay’s annual Trauma Heroes and Survivors Luncheon.

Flight Nurse and Base Outreach Coordinator Aley Pitts and Flight Paramedic Ashley Dumont were recognized by the trauma team for their exceptional care in a case involving a child transported by Walton Air Rescue.

This day is a powerful reminder of the strength and resilience of survivors and the critical teamwork between first responders, flight crews, medical staff, and trauma teams who work tirelessly to give every patient a fighting chance.

Moments like these highlight how the work done on scene, in the air, and at the hospital creates a direct impact in the lives of so many.

The new ER in DeFuniak Springs got some new wheels!

Walton Air Rescue Flight Crew was pumped to participate in a ribbon-cutting today to help celebrate HCA Florida DeFuniak Springs Emergency unveiling TWO fresh off the lot, orange‑and‑navy ambulances that are already turning heads.

Service with speed, style, and serious capability.
