South Richlands Fire Queen Ava Seibert recently competed in the NOVFA Fire Queens contest, held in Ottawa by the Ottawa Fire Department during their Fireman's Convention, where she secured the title of 1st Runner-up. As a senior at Ayersville High School, Ava actively participates in various extracurricular activities, including Varsity Cheerleading and FFA, where she serves as Secretary. We take great pride in her accomplishments and appreciate her representation of South Richlands Queen at the NOVFA pageant.

Please see below regarding the funeral procession for Tony A. Druhot. Tony's final ride will begin just before 10 am Friday June 19th, delivering him to Charles Buckenmeyer Stadium where he will be received by his family and friends for a honorable ceremony celebrating his life.

The Firefighters and EMTs not only participate in regular trainings, but we also perform annual pump testing to verify the operational status of our fire trucks. Today, South Richland and Defiance Fire and Rescue successfully underwent pump testing on all apparatus.

Over the past several months, we have had five members enrolled in the Advanced EMT class and one member enrolled in the Paramedic class. Congratulations to all six of you!
