Due to forecasted severe weather, tomorrow’s Deerfield Food Truck Wednesdays has been canceled. The safety of our residents, vendors and staff is our top priority, and the decision was made out of an abundance of caution.

The second Deerfield Food Truck Wednesdays of the season is coming up on June 17, bringing a completely new lineup of food trucks for the community to enjoy.

Residents are invited to stop by and sample a fresh mix of food options while spending the evening with neighbors and friends. In addition to the new food truck lineup, attendees can visit sponsor booths and enjoy live music from County Line String Band.

The application for the 50/50 tree program is now open.

Trees will be ordered from Wilson Nurseries, Inc. The trees that we offer in the program are 2.5” in diameter. The cost is $225.
Residents are not limited to one tree per year – they can order several, however limit of one species of each tree per household

There is a threat for strong (EF-2+) tornadoes across northern Illinois this afternoon between 4 and 8 PM. The highest threat will be in the dark red shaded area. This area has shifted farther south than previously forecast. Take tornado warnings seriously, and have multiple ways to get warning information today.

Report any power outages to ComEd. Never approach a downed power line; always assume a power line is energized and extremely dangerous. If you see a downed power line, call ComEd immediately at 1-800-EDISON-1 (1-800-334-7661).
