The Town of Deerfield's Personnel Board is looking for two members. Be a vital part of our town government by joining the board that makes recommendations on rules and policy for employees and oversees a fair and equitable workplace in Deerfield. Human resources background is helpful but not required. Submit a letter of interest by email to the town administrator, Kayce Warren .

Deerfield 350th Parade Work Group Meeting
We are holding a meeting for the Deerfield 350th Celebration - Parade Work Group on Wednesday - July 6th at 5:00pm in the Deerfield Town Hall. There are several ways to get involved to help plan and execute the parade to celebrate our town’s 350th anniversary. The Parade is scheduled to take place on Saturday – June 10, 2023.
Can you help with -
• Developing the parade entries and staging order in the parade.
• Organizing and assigning the staging and completion/pick up areas.
• Notifying residents and businesses impacted by the parade route.
• Helping with advertising and signage including marking road closures.
• Coordinating with public safety for police and emergency services.
• Arranging parking for attendees as well as necessary bussing and the associated advertising.
• Overseeing related logistics including golf carts, two-way radios, Sani-cans and access to public restrooms.
• Soliciting parade related vendors.

South Deerfield Town Common

The Town of Deerfield will observe Memorial Day with a ceremony on the Town Common on Monday, May 30, 2022 starting at 08:45 a.m. The public is invited to attend. Following the ceremony, there will be a motorized procession of veterans and emergency vehicles, led by police es**rt, to each of the four (4) cemeteries (Brookside, St. Stanislaus, Holy Name of Jesus and Sugarloaf) for brief ceremonies, including prayer, military salute and Echo Taps. Refreshments will be served at the South County Senior Center at the conclusion of the ceremonies.
On behalf of the Deerfield Memorial Day Committee, we wish everyone a safe and healthy Memorial Day weekend.
