Did you know????

This Memorial Day weekend, as we honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation, we also pause to remember the visionary whose commitment to education helped shape our community.

In 1826, Daniel Schenck gathered his fellow pioneers, secured support for a school, and donated the land for a small log schoolhouse in what was then known as Deer Lick. From that simple beginning grew nearly 200 years of learning, opportunity, and community at Deer Park Schools.

As we celebrate our Bicentennial, we are grateful for Schenck's belief in the power of education and the lasting impact that vision continues to have on generations of Deer Park students.
