When community and business lock arms, lives are changed.

A huge thank you to Terrance King, General Manager, and Jerry Harrelson, Operations Manager, and the entire Americold team for investing in the mission of Jane Around The World. Through employment opportunities, they are helping some of our residents take meaningful steps toward sustainable independence. But they didn’t stop there.

Americold also organized an internal hygiene drive, giving their employees an opportunity to serve and provide essential items that help meet everyday needs at the Beth-Haran House.

This is what community looks like—creating opportunities, meeting practical needs, and reminding young adults that they are not walking their journey alone.

I'm dropping it because my guest this week - Becky Khan, Executive Director of Jane Around The World - is doing something about it. Right here. In Houston.
She's fostered 14 children. Ran a street ministry. Built a transformational living facility. And last week alone, her volunteer network drove 97 rides to get their residents to jobs, doctors, and school. 🫠

🎓✨ Story Time Tuesday ✨🎓

This year, we had the incredible privilege of celebrating THREE high school graduates from our programming as part of the Class of 2026!

These young women have faced obstacles that could have easily become excuses. Instead, they chose perseverance. They chose growth. They chose to keep showing up, even when the road was difficult. Today, they stand as proof that your past does not determine your future.

With God leading the way and a community of people rallying around them, they are raising the bar for what comes next. Their stories remind us that when hope meets opportunity, amazing things happen.

A huge shoutout to Michelle Dalton and Nicole Haines for creating a graduation celebration that these ladies will never forget. The love, encouragement, and intentionality poured into the day will undoubtedly be stored in their core memory bank for years to come. 💜

To our graduates: We are so proud of you. Keep dreaming big, keep trusting God, and keep moving forward. The best chapters are still being written.

Sometimes healing looks like hopping on a bike for the first time in years.
Sometimes growth looks like wobbling a little, laughing a lot, and choosing to try anyway.

In the Beth-Haran House, we celebrate the courage to do hard things — to step outside comfort zones, build confidence, and keep moving forward one pedal at a time. 🚲✨ like the ladies pictured here 😘

Because “walking it out” doesn’t always look perfect… sometimes it looks like this: big smiles, brave hearts, and the freedom that comes from trying something new. 💫

We are incredibly honored to share that our Executive Director of Jane Around the World was presented with the Distinguished Achievement Award from Epsilon Sigma Alpha.

What a humbling and inspiring moment. To be surrounded by people who truly put service at the forefront was such an encouragement to our hearts. The luncheon was filled with generosity, kindness, laughter, and a shared passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

This recognition belongs to every volunteer, donor, partner, resident, supporter, and friend who walks alongside us in this mission each day.

Most importantly — all glory to God for continuing to open doors, provide opportunities, and remind us that compassion changes lives. ❤️

There’s something powerful about families serving side by side. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the partnership and heart of the Danos Foundation and the families within their company who took time to serve our community in such a meaningful way. Together, they gathered, packed, and prepared blessing bags for our street ministry — each one filled with essentials, encouragement, and compassion for our unsheltered neighbors.

Service is more than an act… it’s a reflection of love in motion. Watching parents, children, friends, and coworkers come together reminded us that real change happens when communities choose to show up for one another.
