The Deer Creek Volunteer Fire Department was founded on April 3, 1976 to provide fire protection and emergency response for Deer Creek, OK and the surrounding area in Grant and Kay Counties. ssists on wildland fires in Oklahoma. Our training and equipment, along with the water infrastructure of the town lowered our ISO rating to 7 in 2012.

Our thoughts are with Goldsby today.

Two firefighters from Goldsby lost their lives while answering the call, doing what they were called to do and serving others without hesitation.

This is a heartbreaking reminder of the risks that come with this job. When the tones drop, we go. No matter the hour, no matter the danger.

We stand with the Goldsby Fire Department. We grieve alongside their families, their department, and the entire fire service community.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
