Plan to vote AGAIN on the same Region #4 Budget previously presented for referendum on May 5, 2026 from 12-8pm in all three towns. Deep River electors and property owners may vote at the Community Room of the Library.

From Town Hall:

An announcement from the American Legion & the Deep River Selectmen,

Due to the forecast of heavy rain in our area for tomorrow, Monday 5/25, the Memorial Day Parade scheduled for downtown Deep River has been canceled.

However, a short ceremony will still take place at Fountain Hill Cemetery with the laying of a wreath beginning at 9:30 AM. That will be followed by The White Rose Ceremony at Veteran's Memorial Green.

Please plan to come out and honor our fallen heroes at these two powerful ceremonies. Remember their sacrifice.

Our delegates were honored to represent Deep River Democrats yesterday at the Connecticut Democratic Convention. In addition to casting our votes of endorsement for the Democratic slate of candidates in the upcoming election, it was an opportunity to hear what our elected officials are focused on as we head into an unprecedented next few years and to share with them what folks in Deep River have shared with us about their hopes and concerns.
