Through 11 am, lines of storms tracking east and northeast. Some of these storms could be strong to severe in northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin. Wind gusts to 50 to 70 mph. Heavy rainfall could lead to localized, street flooding.

Severe weather potential ramps up this afternoon and evening with an all hazards event possible as multiple rounds of storms impact the region. Things could get pretty active this afternoon so be sure you have multiple ways to get warnings and your safety plans in place. Stay safe Driftless Region!

Eastern Iowa, you're the bullseye tomorrow.

The single best shot at a strong tornado is right around Cedar Rapids, Charles City, and Decorah. Supercells fire in the afternoon, and as a 40+ kt low-level jet ramps up into the evening, EF2+ tornadoes and hail over two inches are both on the table. This is a Level 3.

It may come in more than one round, so don't let your guard down after the first.

Do you have multiple ways of receiving severe weather alerts?

The single best shot at a tornado tomorrow is around Cedar Rapids, Charles City, and Decorah, Iowa.

Storms fire as supercells in the afternoon with 50 to 60 kt of shear and a strengthening low-level jet feeding right into eastern Iowa. That combo can spin up a few strong EF2+ tornadoes before the line takes over with very large hail and 75+ mph winds.

This is a Level 3 setup.
