Mark your calendar. Absentee Ballots for the Aug 4 election are available June 25!

Whether your summer plans include vacations, the Cass County Fair, community events, or time with family and friends, absentee voting offers a convenient way to participate.

Request an absentee ballot online visit the Michigan Secretary State Office website at: michigan.gov/sos -or- michigan.gov/vote

Request an absentee ballot in person by visiting your local clerk’s office. Voters can visit their local clerk’s office in person to request, complete, and submit their absentee ballot application on site. Voters requesting an application from their local clerk may also take it home with them to complete and submit later.

Big things are ahead for Marcellus Community Schools.

On August 4, voters will vote on a bond proposal to improve school district facilities, enhance learning environments, and prepare for the future.

The bond proposal would address aging building systems (HVAC, electric, roofing, windows, and lighting), add a 6-classroom middle school addition at the high school, and construct a new multipurpose room, making improvements designed to serve students and the community for years to come.

Stay tuned. Election Day is August 4.
