A few minutes ago, I called Senator Manar to congratulate him on winning re-election. It was hard fought, but we gave him one hell of a race.

Thank you for all of your support.

Polls are open!

This has been a crazy journey the past 13 months. I've always enjoyed politics and helping good candidates win, but I wasn't sure I'd ever be a candidate for office myself.

I'm sure you're sick and tired of the negative ads and rhetoric. I am, too. But, it's important to know what each candidate stands for.

I'm for lower taxes. Andy Manar is for higher taxes.
I'm for funding downstate roads and bridges. Andy Manar wants to send the money to Chicago.
I'm for a balanced budget. Andy Manar has never voted for one.

This isn't just mudslinging. These are real differences in the direction of our state. If you agree that we need a new direction and that career politicians are failing us, I ask for your vote.

I'll work every single day to represent your best interests. I don't owe anyone anything, no lobbyists, no political party, no Governor, nobody. Just you.

I'd be honored to have your vote today.

When I graduated college, I could have moved anywhere I wanted. I chose to come back home, to Taylorville, to start a business and try to help make my community and county better.

Too many of our young people are leaving the state for college and never coming back. Illinois had a net population loss of almost 34,000 people last year. There are lower taxes and more jobs today in Missouri, Kentucky, and Indiana. We have to turn that around through lower taxes, reforming our workers' compensation system, and needless regulation on business.

My opponent believes the solution is higher taxes and more regulation. It's a key difference in this race, and I hope you will join me to give Illinois a new direction.

There are 1.2 million small businesses in Illinois. Mine is one of them. It's rewarding work to be a part of the community and to do what you love.

But it's getting harder and harder for those small businesses in our state to make it. Taxes are too high, and J.B. Pritzker and Andy Manar will raise them again. Workers' Compensation insurance is outrageous and the amount of paperwork and legal hoops to jump through make it harder to focus on the things I started this business to do. Not to mention, the families and livelihoods of a dozen employees who depend on our business to keep going strong.

I'm not running for Senate because I have grand political plans. I'm running for Senate because I want to take my real life experience and put it to work for the 1.2 million small businesses in the state and the 2.5 million people they employ.

Illinois and our small businesses need a new direction.

Will you change your profile picture to show your friends you want a new direction for Illinois?

Nothing matters more than personal endorsements, and this is an easy way to do it!

Becoming a dad changed everything. I stopped working for me and realized I was working for their futures.

I want them to attend good schools and be able to stay in state to go to a good college we can afford. I want them to be able to find a job and chase their dreams here in Illinois. And if they want to make our hometown their home forever, they should have that chance.

Career politicians have sold us out for too long to special interests, lobbyists, and Chicago powerbrokers. We need a Senator who will help our state move in a new direction instead of going in the same direction that got us here.

That's why I'm asking for your vote.

If you believe in our cause...if you really feel like we need a new direction in Illinois, I'm asking for your help.

More than a million dollars of J.B. Pritzker's shady cash has wound up in Andy Manar's campaign account.

Can you help us fight back against the dark money and lies? Please consider donating to help us down the final stretch!
