Hosted by DeKalb County CEO Lorraine Cochran-Johnson in partnership with Commissioner Mereda Davis Johnson and the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners, the annual celebration was held June 13 at Rainbow Park Amphitheater in Decatur.

This year's theme, "Embracing Unity as We Celebrate," was reflected throughout the day as residents enjoyed live entertainment, fellowship, and a shared appreciation for the significance of Juneteenth.

The festivities featured memorable performances by the legendary all-female R&B group Klymaxx and the iconic funk band Morris Day and The Time, who brought energy and excitement to the celebration.
