I want to congratulate Jackie Melton as Meigs County Sheriff. Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout the campaign. My wife and I have had many conversations over the last year regarding the outcome of the election and can truly say we feel God has a plan for us and we are at peace in knowing he is in control. Although I would have been honored to serve as Meigs County Sheriff for the next 4 years, God's plan is always greater than ours!
