This week is National Emergency Telecommunicators Week, and we want to take a moment to recognize a group that doesn’t always get the spotlight, but absolutely deserves it.

Our dispatchers are the calm voice on the other end of the line when everything else feels chaotic. They’re the ones gathering critical information, getting the right resources moving, and keeping everyone, both the public and responders, connected and safe.

Behind every call we respond to, there’s a dispatcher making sure we have what we need before we ever arrive on scene. Their dedication, professionalism, and ability to stay composed under pressure does not go unnoticed.

From all of us at Flint City Volunteer Fire Department, thank you Morgan County 911 for everything you do, day in and day out. We appreciate you more than you know.
