This week our little farmers had a wonderful time exploring all things farm-themed! We used water and corn for sensory play, created adorable muddy pigs, and made tractor tire tracks through the “mud.”

These hands-on activities helped our toddlers strengthen their fine motor skills, explore different textures, use their creativity, and practice imaginative play. Most importantly, they had so much fun getting a little messy while learning!

We love providing opportunities for our children to learn through play and discovery. Ask your little one about the pigs they made and the tractor tracks they created! ❤️

On Thursday, we said goodbye to our baby chicks as it was their last day in the classroom. With permission from parents, the children had the special opportunity to gently hold and interact with the baby chicks. The children absolutely loved spending this extra time with the chicks, but they were also very sad to see them leave. It was a wonderful learning experience that created many happy memories for our class. 🐣🐥

Yesterday was a fun-filled day in our classroom! We enjoyed our exciting Water Day, where the children had a blast playing with the water blasters, splashing at the water table, and exploring with sponges. The kids loved cooling off and staying active while having fun with their friends. Later in the day, we got to explore our brand-new learning centers. The children were excited to visit the Police Station center and our Science center, Ocean Explorers, where we are learning interesting facts about the ocean and the amazing creatures that live there. It was a wonderful day full of hands-on learning, discovery, and fun!

This week during Farm Week, we have been excitedly watching our eggs in the incubator and observing the amazing progress of the chicks growing inside. After patiently waiting and learning about their development, the eggs finally began to hatch! The children are thrilled to see the baby chicks and will be learning all about the life cycle of an egg, from egg to chick. 🐣🐥🌾

This week was our first field trip of the year, and we had so much fun at the Harmon park! The kids were excited to run, play, and explore with their friends. Even though it was a hot day, that didn’t stop everyone from having a great time. We enjoyed playing on the playground, being active outdoors, and making wonderful memories together. It was a fun and successful first field trip for the year!

This week for Beach Week, the kids had so much fun creating beach-inspired art projects! We used glue to make fun ocean designs and sprinkled salt on top. After the glue dried, the children painted over it with watercolors and loved watching the colors spread across their artwork. We also colored cute turtles and crabs, then glued them together to make creative beach crafts. The kids had a great time using their imagination while learning about beach and ocean themes!

Our school-age class had such a fun and exciting time celebrating the start of summer and Circus Week! For the first day of summer, the kids worked together to create a colorful rainbow craft while learning about teamwork, creativity, and colors. During Circus Week, the children had a blast making their own silly clown masks using bright colors and fun decorations to show off their creativity. We also enjoyed a special face painting activity where the kids got to choose fun circus-inspired designs, making the week even more exciting and memorable. The children loved expressing themselves through art and having fun with their friends all week long!
