Congratulations to HSHS St. Mary's Hospital on their beautifully-renewed chapel!

Now located in the main lobby, the hospital preserved the stained glass featuring the Prayer of St. Francis, and added updated A/V equipment to further reach patients and visitors, as well as accessible & inclusive seating and kneelers. This is part of their ongoing $90 million renovation.

Thanks to St. Mary's for continued investment in healthcare and healing!

Recycling cardboard and drop-off locations in Decatur ♻️

Clean, non-greasy cardboard is accepted in your curbside recycle bin. Remove plastic/metal strapping, but you can leave staples and clear tape. Also flatten the boxes to save space. Electric box cutters can make it easier to break down.

If you get tons of packages and need bulk cardboard drop off, flatten your cardboard and bring to a drop off location:

- downtown Macon County recycling center at 151 W Wood Street
- Midwest Fiber Recycling at 1781 Hubbard Ave

Download the Recycle Coach app or use the web tool at www.decaturil.gov/580/Recycling and get more tips/information like this!
