📢 According to information presented by GVRA at the July 22, 2026 State Rehabilitation Council meeting, standard Pre-Employment Transition Services will be limited to a maximum of 15 units annually per student starting FFY 27.

⚠️ But what happens when a student needs more?
According to Client Services Policy Manual 8.1.10(1.5), “A fee override or policy exception may be granted for an individual for the purpose of meeting the individual’s unique rehabilitation requirements if necessary for the individual’s movement toward their employment goal.”

If you have questions about your student's Pre-Employment Transition services, and whether a fee override or policy exception would be appropriate, contact your child's assigned counselor.

Did you know? Roosevelt Warm Springs is now a minimally supervised campus, meaning attendees are expected to:
• Be independent with all activities of daily living
• Administer their own medications
• Not require supported employment

Psychiatric, occupational therapy, & physical therapy services are no longer provided on campus according to GVRA's FY26 3rd Quarter Provider Forum.

How do you feel these changes affect individuals with disabilities who benefitted from the comprehensive services Roosevelt Warm Springs has historically provided?
